PAPERS25 May 2011 Food inflation has usurped the economy as consumers’ biggest concern for the first time in a decade, according to a global survey released by Nielsen. Data from the market information and analytics company shows that 13 per cent of the 28,000 respondents cited increasing food prices as their biggest concern over the next six months. That is ahead of the economy, which came in at 11 per cent, and job security and health, which each made 8 per cent. Moorhouse’s Brewery produces award-winning beers such as Pendle Witches Brew and Black Cat.
